Course Overview

About This Course

This is clearly not an e-learning course, but an innovative tool box that provides tailor-made guidance for financial institutions on implementing E&S policies related to risk management. The toolbox works best in conjunction with the e-learning course “State of the art E&S risk management” where the underlying basics are explained. In this toolbox you are guided through the different steps of what exactly you need to do now when setting up an E&S management system capable of managing the E&S risks of a specific investment project. As the name indicates, wherever possible and meaningful, the toolbox provides or links to “helpers”, for example questionnaires, checklists, sample documentation, suggestions for reporting formats, sample guidelines, etc. In particular, the toolbox also consists of documents provided by DEG and other Development Finance Institutions. The toolbox is designed in a way that users are efficiently guided to exactly what they need, including a network of links with explanations.
