This course will help participants to understand KfW’s E&S related requirements when financing financial institutions. It is updated regularly to reflect the latest KfW requirements.
This course explains the E&S related requirements of KfW when providing a loan to a financial institution client.
It starts by explaining why at all international development banks (including KfW) do increasingly attach importance to the subject of “E&S risk management” in financial institutions and how this is best being achieved. Further, the different requirements are explained in detail with a particular focus on implementation challenges and good practices.
The course further explains the impact that these requirements can have on the business of a financial institution, in particular with regard to its clients, and also provides a quick explanation of “why this could make sense” and is not just another bureaucratic hurdle imposed by KfW.
CFOs, CROs, E&S managers of KfW financial institution clients, E&S coordinators (operational level) of financial institutions, all interested investment managers and staff of credit and risk departments
